Paddy Coyne's GLOW 5k & Kids 1k

Family fun!

Looking for a fun way to celebrate St. Paddy's Day? Join us for a twilight run or walk at our second annual Paddy Coyne's GLOW 5K & Kids 1K, coming March, 2019.

Our inaugural Paddy Coyne's GLOW 5K & Kids 1K is a fun, family-friendly, non-competitive event set to take place at dusk in March, 2019. In addition to regular course markings, the course will be glowing with orange and green in honor of  St. Paddy's Day. We encourage everyone to come decked out with glow sticks, flashlights, color lights, and reflective gear, and we require all participants to carry at least a headlight or flashlight.

In 2018, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to America Scores Seattle & to the Renewal Food Bank - serving meals to residents of Bellevue, Redmond and Renton. Check back soon to see our charity partners for 2019!

Safety Protocol

Because this event takes place in the evening, we will have extra safety precautions in place. A police officer will be present at any street crossings to direct traffic. We will have course safety monitors stationed throughout the course to direct runners and oversee the race in progress. The course will be lined with glow sticks, and all participants are required to have a headlamp or flashlight on them during the run. In addition, we highly recommend a reflective vest, blinking lights and lots of glow sticks!
