Hallux Rigidus & Limitus Contoured Insoles

The Hallux Rigidus & Limitus Carbon Fiber Contoured Insoles are designed with a raise to relieve pressure off the metatarsal (toe) joints and limit the motion of all the toes (metatarsals) and not just the big toe. Regardless of activity during work or play, the rigid full length insoles will limit movement. Each order comes with one (1) plate and not in a pair. The insoles are a rigid base with a contour designed to place in shoe were the contour goes downward towards the toe to provide pressure relief on the metatarsals.

Ideal for the prevention and treatment when dealing with minimal movement of the toes and forefoot metatarsals for:

  • Turf Toe
  • Arthritis
  • Forefoot Pain
  • Hallux Limitus
  • Hallux Rigidus (Rigid Toe)
  • Light Ligament Sprains and Fractures
  • Metatarsophalangeal Joint
  • Metatarsalgia
  • Big Toe Fractures
  • Midfoot Arthritis
  • Morton's Toe

These Hallux Rigidus & Limitus Carbon Fiber Contoured Insoles are made of: high strength carbon and glass fibers in a tough polyolefin matrix and run 1.69 to 1.91 mm thick depending on size. Full NRG Plate.

For Sizing:

Each order comes with one (1) plate. If you will need a pair, you will need to order two (2).

  • Small measures 9 inches heel to toe - Youth 4.5-7 / Women's 6.5-8.5
  • Medium measures 9.75 inches heel to toe - Men's 6-7.5 / Women's 9-12
  • Large measures 11 inches heel to toe - Men's 8-14.5 / Women's 12.5+
  • X-Large  measures 12 inches heel to toe - Men's 15+

Insole Placement:

The key to good placement is to make sure the extension piece is underneath your toes all the way to the front of your shoe, regardless of where the back of the plate ends. Place the Hallux Rigidus Limitus Contoured Insoles underneath your existing insole or orthotic arch support to hold it in place.  For extra hold, consider using 2-sided tape or shoe goo to adhere to the underside of your current orthotic or arch support.  See the lengths above in "For Sizing" as you do not want the length of the insole to be longer then an existing insole or inside length of your shoe.
