Painful Turf Toe

Yesterday in the Bellevue, WA shoe store, we had a man come in complaining of a very painful condition commonly known as "turf toe."  We tried to fit him in a rocker-soled shoe like the New Balance 927 and the Dansko Professional, but because of swelling issues and the wide width of his foot, we simply could not find one to fit him comfortably.  As an alternative, we were able to find a shoe without a rocker sole, which fit well, and then added a graphite plate to that shoe.  The result was the same: the toe was immobilized, and he was able to get around...

Shoe Review – Dressy orthotic friendly shoes they do exist: Aravon Maya vs. Aravon Mia
