NW Winter Challenge 2019 - Dec 31 Email
Posted by Adam Stuhlfaut, Director of Running on
The Challenge starts tomorrow! This year we have more teams, more participants and more donations to Eastside Baby than last year! I'm looking forward to our start together tomorrow. Make sure to post your Day 1 pictures (and every day) on the Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/events/327047791409418/
Please review the detailed rules here: http://shoesnfeet.com/northwest-winter-challenge-rules
·For the iPhone app: http://racemenu.com/racedayios - if you have RaceDay on your phone from last year, I believe that it automatically updates. Mine did in testing the most recent version recently. The most recent version will have a "Social" button on the bottom and allows you to edit your profile.

Also, for those in the Seattle-ish area, we are having a gathering of Challenge participants on Saturday, January 12 @ 5pm at the Chainline Brewing Company in Kirkland, WA: FB event page: https://www.facebook.com/events/602715693831804/ We’ll be raffling off a pair of Brooks shoes among other prizes, but you have to be present to win!
The Bridle Trails Winter Running Festival are also in Kirkland on Jan 12. That event is super-fun and we highly recommend them! Races start and at 3 pm, which means the longer races are run in the dark with headlamps. If you are running Bridle Trails, come on over when you are finished and have a beverage with us! We’ll be at Chainline until at least 7 pm. More on Bridle Trails Winter Running Festival https://bridle.seattlerunningclub.org/.
A couple key things to keep in mind:
1. When you log in to the app/website for the first time, please make sure to use the exact login you used for registration on RaceMenu. So, if you log in with an email /password use that. If you log in, with Facebook, use that. For a step-by-step guide, please visit this website: http://shoesnfeet.com/daily-run-log-instructions
2. If you have other problems with the app/website, please view the above guide or consult the RaceMenu FAQ: https://racemenu.helpscoutdocs.com/article/4-winter-challenge
3. Finally, if all else fails, email hello@racemenu.com and their help desk will assist you. You have four days to log each run/walk, so if you miss an entry waiting on help, just keep running or walking! We'll make sure everything is okay, you won't be kicked out of the Challenge due to technical errors! You can email me too, but for technical issues, I can only offer sympathy, not actions. However, for questions on rules, raffles and other non-technical issues, please email me: adam.stuhlfaut@shoesnfeet.com
4. Finally, if you have friends who can't register today, they can still participate if they register by midnight on January 4, 2019 (technically the 5th is the last day to log a run for Jan 1 and it takes 24 hours for the app to activate for registrations Jan 1 and after). Please send them to the registration website: https://www.racemenu.com/events/170014-2019-Northwest-Winter-Challenge-
Have Fun!
