August's Shoe Fitter of the Month: Cindy T. from Bellevue SHOES-n-FEET

Posted by JB Smith, Co-Owner on

August's Shoe Fitter of the Month is Cindy T. from Bellevue, Washington. Cindy is a SHOES-n-FEET veteran, having helped grow the business in its early years, though we did lose her for some time to one of our favorite sneaker brands. Now she's back at the store making sure our customers are walking out in the right shoes and bridging the gap between us and the medical community...and local Thai restaurants, to be sure!

Name: Cindy T.

SHOES-n-FEET location: Bellevue

Position: Medical Marketing Director and Shoe Fitter

How long have you been working for SHOES-n-FEET? I helped start the S-n-F business. I left for 10 years to work as a rep with New Balance but have been back since January 2011.

What is the first pair of shoes you remember? Saddle shoes

If you could travel to one place in the world, where would it be? Greece

What’s your biggest foot- or shoe-related pet peeve? When someone does not want to wear the correct size that actually fits their feet because they “have never worn that size before.”

If you were a superhero, would you rather have the power to run really fast or to jump really high? Really I would like to be able to fly, but of the two options given, I'd have to choose to run really fast.

What is your favorite outdoor activity? Soccer

What pair of shoes could you not live without? My Sole flip-flops or running shoes

If you were stranded on a desert island and could only have 3 items with you, what would they be and why?:

1. Latte to start my day
2. Good book for the middle of the day, either a mystery or love story
3. Nice glass of red wine for the end of the day

If you had to eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be? Thai food

What’s your favorite thing about Bellevue? We have a great group of people that work at the Bellevue SHOES-n-FEET. We all help each other out with different tasks, assist one another if we have a challenging customer and really enjoy one another’s company.
